| RETREAT INFO For the past 2 years we have been holding Mystery Quilt Retreats at Big Bird's Chicken Ranch. At the end of each retreat everyone has a quilt top done, usually lap size, plus, any other projects worked on. We have the Ranch from noon Thursday to approximately 3 pm on Sunday. Thursday is free sewing; we start the Mystery about 9:00 am on Friday. You do not have to do the Mystery Quilt, it is perfectly fine to do as some ladies who enjoy coming and work on projects they need, or want to finish. As we do more retreats we get ideas from participants for new ideas. Because of the increase in prices, the fall retreats will be $175.00 for both Thursday-Sunday and Friday -Sunday. There is a registration page on the web site for your convenience. You can send $25. To hold a place for yourself at a retreat. This includes, lodging, and meals. You bring your personal items and sewing items. About six weeks before the retreat you will receive the fabric requirements and cutting instructions along with a registration form, the balance of the retreat is due at that time. There is a minimum of 6 people needed and maximum of 10 for each retreat. Any questions please call 715-654-5250 or email me at cowcountry@tds.net I need to finalize booking at least 60 days before a retreat to confirm the dates,so register promptly. The minimum is 6 quilters and maximum is 10. We always have a great time at the retreats. Several of the Mystery quilts will be on display at the shop. Your $25.00 would be refunded or you can select another retreat date, if there aren't enough signed up. See Registration Page where you can print out a form. Openings change as people sign up, so if you want to make certain of date availability, please give me a call at the shop. If you purchase your fabric at Cow Country Fabrics you will receive 10% discount. Come join us bring a friend or relative for a weekend away . | Join fellow quilters who come from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan and Illinois. What a great weekend get-away for you and a friend. Mosinee, WI and St. Paul/Minneapolis are your best options for air travel. Our MI friends flew into Mosinee they did have family in Wausau, but easy enough to rent a car if you need to Great fun is had by everyone attending, meals and lodging are included in the cost of the retreat. | The only retreat that has room is the April 2 - 5. I know that is Palm Sunday weekend and can do it Wed. thru Sat. or Thurs. thru Sat. If there is no interest in this weekend, I don't know right now if there are any other weekends open before June 1. I will check and let you know. |
